Good morning, brrrrgg is cold outside and I have been feeling a bit sick lately today the worse day hopefully this passes soon, drinking lots of honey, lemon on a hot drink, so I think I'll be fine really soon 😊😉 fingers crossed! , today post it's about different ways of tying a scarf, I thought it was a great idea as personally I always wear my scarf tied the same way in circles around my neck boooorrrriiiiinnnngggg hahahah here are some awesome ideas, hope you like it and enjoy it! Buenos Dias! Brrrrggg que frío hace afuera, y últimamente no me siento muy bien, hoy es el peor día, espero que me pase pronto, estoy tomando mucha miel con limón en agua caliente así que ya se que pronto estaré bien 😊😉con los dedos cruzados! El post de hoy es sobre ideas diferentes de atar una bufanda, me pareció una idea genial, ya que yo casi siempre llevo la bufanda de la misma manera, atada alrededor del cuello en círculos jajajaj súper aburrido! Bueno aquí tenéis unas ideas geniales, espero que os gusten y a disfrutar del sábado!

My passions, getting crafty part 26 ‘Recycling’

Hello and happy Saturday to you all! I found something new, so excited about this, I have tons of plastic bags that I have been recycling for a long time now, and since I have fabric bags that i carry on my purse so I don’t have to use the plastic ones, I found this project where you can reused the plastic bags and actually make something really cute with them. Here is how you make yarn out of plastic bags and some ideas to make cool stuff with it.

Hola y feliz sábado a todos! He encontrado algo nuevo que me encanta, estoy súper contenta con estas ideas, tengo un montón de bolsas plásticas que he estado reciclando desde hace mucho tiempo, y como ahora llevó siempre en el bolso bolsas de tela para no comprar bolsas plásticas, he encontrado este nuevo proyecto para reutilizar las bolsas plásticas y hacer cosas súper cool con ellas, aquí tenéis el tutorial para hacer el hilo con las bolsas de plástico y algunas ideas de proyectos.

Good morning, I found this recipe for natural room scents, and its the best thing in the world, smells sooo good, I though I have to share it with you guys! If you do make it please share it 🙂

Here is the recipe:
Natural Room Scents
Ingredients
•Citrus, sliced — lemons, oranges, limes (may use peel only, if preferred)
•Herbs — rosemary, thyme, & bay leaves
•Spices– whole cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice (optional), anise (optional); may substitute ground/powdered spices
•Ginger (fresh or powdered)
•Extracts–vanilla, almond, mint
•Pine twigs (or other fragrant twigs)
Directions
Use a pint (2 cup) jar, container, or pot to combine scent waters. Add ingredients to container, cover with water, and choose from these options:
–simmer on stove top, topping off with more water as it evaporates
–add heated mixture to a slow cooker, fondue pot, or something similar that will keep mixture heated. Preheat waters to a boil (in microwave or on stove top). As water evaporates, always top it off with HOT water to keep the temperature as high as possible. Higher heat = more fragrance.

FRAGRANT COMBINATIONS:

1. Orange, Cinnamon & Spice. 1 orange, 2 cinnamon sticks (or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon), 1/2 tablespoon whole cloves (or 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves), 1/2 tablespoon whole allspice (or 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice), 1 anise star (optional)

2. Lemon, Rosemary & Vanilla. 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary, 2 lemons, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

3. Lime, Thyme, Mint & Vanilla. 3 limes, 3-4 sprigs fresh thyme, 1/2 teaspoon mint extract, 1 teaspoon vanilla.

4. Orange, Ginger, & Almond. 1 orange (or peel from 2 oranges), 1 4″ finger of ginger, sliced (or 1 tsp ground ginger), 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.

5. Pine, Bay Leaves, & Nutmeg. Handful of pine twigs or needles, 4 bay leaves, 1 whole nutmeg, outer layer grated into mixture.

Scented waters may be refrigerated between uses. Reuse for 2-3 days, or as long as they still have a pleasant fragrance.

Buenos dias! El otro dia encontre esta receta para hacer ambietadores naturales y me encanta! Huelen increible, obviamente tenia que compartirlo con vosotros. Si os atreveis a hacerlo, compartirlo! 🙂

Aqui teneis la receta:
Ambientadores Naturales
Ingredientes
• Cítricos, en rodajas -limones, naranjas, (los limones se puede usar la cáscara solamente, si se prefiere)
• Hierbas – romero, tomillo, hojas de laurel
• Especias – canela, clavo de olor, nuez moscada, pimienta de Jamaica (opcional), anís (opcional), puede sustituir por especias en polvo
• Jengibre (fresco o en polvo)
• Extractos – vainilla, almendra, menta
• Ramas de pino (u otras ramas fragantes)
Instrucciones
Utiliza un contenedor (2 tazas) para mezclar las escencias. Añada los ingredientes al recipiente, cubrir con agua, y elegir entre las siguientes opciones:
– cocine a fuego lento en la estufa, rellenando con mas agua cuando el agua se evapore
– agregue la mezcla a una olla de cocción lenta, un recipient de fondue, o algo similar que mantenga la mezcla caliente. El agua que se evapore debes ir anadiendo agua caliente poco a poco, la temperature siempre tiene que estar muy alta, piensa que mientras mas alta la temperatura = a mas fragancia.

COMBINACIONES de fragancias:

1. Naranja, Canela y Especias. 1 naranja, 2 ramas de canela (o 2 cucharaditas de canela en polvo), 1/2 cucharada de clavos enteros (o 1/8 de cucharadita de clavo molido), 1/2 cucharada de pimienta entera (o 1/4 de cucharadita de pimienta de Jamaica), 1 anís estrellado (opcional)

2. Limón, romero y vainilla. 3 ramitas de romero fresco, 2 limones, 1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla.

3. Limón, tomillo, menta y vainilla. 3 limones, 3-4 ramitas de tomillo fresco, 1/2 cucharadita de extracto de menta, 1 cucharadita de vainilla.

4. Naranja, jengibre, y almendras. 1 naranja (o cáscara de 2 naranjas), 1 4 “dedo de jengibre en rodajas (o 1 cucharadita de jengibre en polvo), extracto de almendras 1/2 cucharadita.

5. Pino, hojas de laurel, y nuez moscada. Un puñado de ramas de pino o agujas, 4 hojas de laurel, 1 conjunto, la capa externa de nuez moscada rallada a la mezcla.

Aguas aromáticas se pueden refrigerar entre usos. Reutilización de 2-3 días, o el tiempo que todavía tienen una fragancia agradable.

Continuing with my passions series, here are the photos of the painting I have been working on for two week for my kids room, I finally finished two days ago, such a relieve I thought I was never going to finish it, I didn’t have that much time this week to paint, I started reading a book called ‘The yellow eyes of the crocodile’, its the first book in like 3 years that I read that has nothing to do with kids, or babies or anything related to little human beings hahahahaha :)… I am really excited about this book I heard it is really good! Anyways I hope you like the painting and you have a fantastic weekend, I have a busy one, as we are going to a kids party woohooo, this means I get to eat birthday cake mmmm I love it 🙂 and Sunday we are going to an Enduro Race, I will keep you posted on Instagram (@littleprettymess) (if you are interested in following me) or you will see the photos on my weekly post.

Continuamos con la serie de mis pasiones, aqui estan las fotos de la pintura para la habitacion de mi nino que llevo dos semanas haciendo, y hace dos dias que he terminado, pense que no la iba a terminar nunca, me costo mucho ya que no he tenido mucho tiempo ultimamente para pintar, he estado ocupando mi poco tiempo libre en leer un libro que me recomendaron que se llama ‘Los ojos amarillos de los cocodrilos’ he escuchado muy buenas criticas, asi que lo empece con muchas ganas, y hasta ahora me va enganchando…. es el primer libro en tres anos que leo que no tiene nada que ver con ninos, bebes o pequenos seres humanos jajajjajaj…. Pero bueno espero que les gusten mis pinturas, y sobre todo qu tengan un fin de semana genial…. yo tengo un fin de semana movidito, ya que tenemos un cumpleanos, mmm eso quiere decir que comemos pastel mmmmm me encanta!!! y el domingo una competicion de Enduro… 🙂 bueno los que me siguen en instagram (@littleprettymess) ya ire posteando cositas 🙂 y los que no ya vereis mis fotos en el post semanal.
